Another Yankee Blanket

I did another Yankee baby size blanket for my daughter and a couple small pillows. They are coming up for dinner Wednesday I think they will like them a lot.

Quilt for my daughter

She wanted me to make her a New York Yankees blanket with this fleece fabric. It is small.

T-Shirt Quilt

I worked on this Tshirt quilt. I gathered Tshirt from different States or Countries I have visited and put them together in this quilt. I still need to do an outside boarder.

The beginnings of the Owl Quilt!!!

I am starting work on the Owl Quilt. Thank Kelly!! I have it all together as far as teh aplique goes now I just have to start sewing. I was so excited to get it together so I wanted to share.

Movie Quilt

This quilt makes me think of Old Hollywood. I did it for a friend. I just have the top done. It fit on my Dad's King bed. It is only the second King size quilt I have done. Now I just have to buy a backing fabric and take it to the quilter. This picture isn't that great. I will have to take another one when it is all done!

Another Baby Quilt

This one is suppose to look like a present. I did it for my daughters Best Friend who is due in December. I just have the binding to finish. But have to go play Taxi for my son!!

Quilting Today

Finished the top and back for my son quilt. Good thing since I have an appointment with the quilter in the morning. I also did this scrappy baby quilt. I was going to send this scrap fabric to Jan but kept it out at the last minute.

My Favorite and a Finished Project!!

I love this one! Jan can tell you I have been working on it for a long time. I think I showed her one of the cupcakes and the fabric weaving back in February. This one, one of my kids will get when they have a baby girl. Which neither of them wants. They both want boys. But Kara said she might consider just so she can have the quilt!LOL

Back to Quilting

OK here is the quilt top only from all my Nigeria Fabric. The top is finally done. I will take it to a quilter to be finished!! Way to big for me!

Placemats Finally

I think they take as long as a quilt!! I did these two set of placemats for some birthday gifts. Each set has two of each pattern. You can tell they are for very different people by the colors. I still need to put the binding and quilt the brown ones.

Zig Zag Quilt

I finished and had this quilt quilted before I moved to San Jose. Then came the problem of binding it. It is normal to go around corner but not to do invertered corners. I had to get some help. A very kind woman Phyliss helped me get it figured out. My grandma will love this quilt for her birthday in July.

Ryan Phoenix

My cousin Thad had a baby boy late last week. He was very early he wasn't due till June 26th. He weight was 2lbs 6oz, 16 inches long. My cousin put his wedding band on the baby wrist and if fit (ring size 9). So I whipped up this little baby quilt over the weekend.

Charmed Bag for sure

This bags is make with what they call in the quilt world a Charm Pack!! I took the class today at Prarie Queen. I just need to put the button on and I will be 100% finished.

Nigerian Quilt - Started

I have been working on this quilt for awhile. I am making a queen size quilt for Dickson and I. I picked up all the colorful fabric in Nigeria last year. I have the 1st of 7 rows done. I am sure it will take a month or more to get the top finished.

Another Quillow

This one is for my Godson!! Anders, we have trains, planes and automobiles!! The picture isn't that great!!

Finish UP!! Already!!

I decided today I can't buy any more fabric unless it is to finish up current projects. I have lots of those. So Today I got the Top of my Gordian Knot done by adding the Boarders. I also finished up the Top on a baby Blanket. I had to do Attic Windows in a class I took so I turned them into this Olivia the Pig Baby Blanket. NOW I just have to get them layered and quilted hopefully very very soon.

Today I had a quilt class at Eddie's. This is the main part of the quilt top. I still have to do my boarders and everything else. Just wanted to share becaused I loved it so much!!

Quillow #1

I made this Quillow for my God daughter ZOE!! Her birthday is coming up. Now I just need to make one for her brothers birthday! Next week. SO what is a Quillow it is a small quilt that turns into a pillow. Great for the couch or for little kids.

Placemats for my Aunt Nita

My Aunt had a birthday in Feb. 10th and I am just now getting these placemats done. I did a set of 5!! Don't ask why 5!! Her kitchen is decorated with Roosters!! Hope she likes them I am also sending her the baby blanket with the black background and bright flowers for her sons new baby! Part of the delay!!

Modern Paris Quilt

I actually finished the top to this quilt before moving to San Jose. I recently got it back from the quilter and got the binding put on. This one I am actually keeping for myself!!
